Harper Adams Catering Manager David Nuttall is chairman of the Telford & Wrekin Alliance.
Thursday 23rd November 2017 saw David and Catering placement student Sophie York present the Fairtrade borough certificate to the mayor along with other members of the Telford & Wrekin Alliance. It was a great honour and many thanks were passed to all the alliance members for their hard work and commitment to Fairtrade.
The certificate awarded shows that cafes, shops , churches, schools , colleges and our very own University are supporting the sale of Fairtrade goods across the borough. This Fairtrade honour shows the borough are committed to supporting farmers growing food in poorer countries & making sure a fair price is received for their goods.
